  Are you denying the deity and presence of the Holy Spirit without realizing it?

The Bible states the Holy Spirit comes to live in us when we are saved. God's fruit (fruit of the Spirit) love, joy, peace, patience ,goodness, faith, kindness, gentleness and self-control can now manifest through us.

1. But many Christian's are taught to "call down the Holy Spirit", "wait for the Holy Spirit to arrive", and this is "unbelief" that the Holy Spirit is living in you. I've heard people say it's no big deal God knows their heart. Jesus died on the cross for your salvation and so that His Spirit can come live in you. Ignoring that is denying the deity of God and that's a sin.

2. Many people are taught to pray JUST for the individual Fruit they need at that time. They are going from one situation to another dealing with the symptoms of not walking by the Spirit. For example someone might believe they need to show someone that's hurting them in someway more love and they just pray (and try) to show them more love. But in reality they need the FULL Fruit of the Spirit. They probably need more than just more love, they probably need it all: patience, self-control, goodness, kindness, gentleness, faith, joy, peace, and love.

The Bible calls it the Fruit not Fruits of the Spirit. All 9 characteristics ARE God. If you are not walking in the Spirit and you are trying to randomly get more of one specific "part" of the Spirit's Fruit it is not Biblical.

We should be drawing closer to God so that His Fruit and gifts can flow and manifest in and through us at all times.

Trying to act nice or trying to show people love or patience is nice, but it is not the Fruit of the Spirit. You can not duplicate or emulate the Fruit of the Spirit in your own strength, will power, skills, abilities or determination and if you are trying to, you are denying the deity of the Holy Spirit and that is disobedience, it is pride and it is a sin
